FortisBC – High-Efficiency Furnace and Boiler Rebates
FortisBC offers rebates of up to $700 for installing an eligible ENERGY STAR® high-efficiency gas furnace or boiler. These incentives are available to both homeowners and rental property owners.
Requirements:
- Must be replacing an existing natural gas furnace or boiler
- Installation must be performed by a licensed Gas Contractor
- New equipment must meet minimum efficiency ratings (AFUE ≥ 95%)
For even greater savings, FortisBC also provides a Dual Fuel System Rebate of up to $5,000 for combining a natural gas furnace with an electric heat pump.
CleanBC Better Homes Rebates
Through CleanBC, you can access combined rebates offered in partnership with BC Hydro and FortisBC. Eligible customers can receive additional bonus rebates when completing multiple upgrades such as furnace replacement, insulation, and windows.
CleanBC’s Energy Savings Program may also cover up to 100% of the upgrade cost for low-income households
