A Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) and building-science specialist focused on helping buildings perform the way they were meant to: more efficient, more comfortable, more durable, and built to the highest energy standards. Licensed as a P.Eng. in both British Columbia and Ontario, and holding certifications as a Passive House Designer and Net Zero Energy Advisor, his work is grounded in internationally recognized, high-performance building standards.
His credentials extend across the field. He is a Certified Energy Manager (CEM), a Project Management Professional (PMP), and a member of the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE). In Ontario, he holds a BCIN registration for HVAC design and building services, along with a Recommissioning certification from Natural Resources Canada.
He currently serves as Service Organization Manager (SOM) with Green Canada Energy Advisors, and as Partner and Vice President at Monolith Housing Solutions. Across these roles he leads EnerGuide assessments, energy modelling, and building-envelope performance work on residential and commercial projects, while helping guide the strategic direction of Monolith’s high-performance housing services.
His core specialties center on Large Building Airtightness Testing, using multi-fan blower-door verification to confirm envelope performance on multi-unit residential and commercial buildings. He also handles commissioning and recommissioning of building systems, making sure mechanical and energy systems operate as designed and helping existing buildings recover performance they have lost over time. He brings both the technical expertise and the equipment needed to deliver reliable, defensible results for energy targets, code compliance, and occupant comfort.
He welcomes collaboration with builders, developers, architects, engineers, and property teams who need expert consultation in building science and high-performance construction. When energy performance, comfort, or code compliance matters on a project, he is always glad to connect.
